JOBS FOR THE MONTH (by Carl Noblet)

This section provides a brief outline of the main jobs that we carry out around the campus during that month.

SEPTEMBER - As Autumn arrives so do our Students! Work in making our Grounds look in tip top condition has been greeted with welcome comments by all.

Now into Autumn we are slowly coming to the end of our grass cutting season. With cooler conditions, plant and weed growth is starting to slow down. Due to this we are in the final stages of trimming the shrubs and any dead/dying plants cut down or removed.

The first signs of falling leaves have begun to fall, so we have already started gathering and clearing them up. Yesterdays leaves brings tomorrows...will be ready!

WITH A CHANGE OF SEASON AND AUTUMN COLOURS, CHALLENGES CONTINUE!!!

JOBS OF THE MONTH (August)

JOBS FOR THE MONTH (by Carl Noblet)
This section provides a brief outline of the main jobs that we carry out around the campus during that month.

AUGUST - While many of us have been enjoying our summer breaks this month, we have been busy restoring our beautiful acre back to it's wonderful glory!

In achieving this we aerated the ground by spiking, then put a dressing of top soil on the worst affected areas followed by a good coating of grass seed. Watering the seeded areas with hose pipes and sprinklers has helped us to encourage faster growth of the grass seed.

Our regular duties have continued as normal with grass cutting, weeding and trimming. We have also been watering our new hanging baskets at the front of the James Graham building as well as our tubs around the site.

As our academic year comes full circle and our students prepare to come back. WE KEEP GOING!!!
